"Its advanced metal-free Urosensor™ means no skin irritation and its compact design makes it ultra-comfortable to wear. The alarm comes with one Urosensor™ and batteries.

  • Two-part wireless system with no wires. Urosensor™ transmits directly to the alarm avoiding the need for a separate transmitter which the sensor has to be plugged into. No fiddly clips or domes that can break or damage. Easy, convenient and comfortable. Great for older children and restless sleepers.
  • Patented moulded plastic Urosensor™. Sealed unit so urine cannot damage the electronics. Easy to clean and dry for instant re-use.
  • Urosensor™ goes right inside the underpants. The best position for quick detection of urine leakage.
  • Urosensor™ can be inserted inside pull-ups or diapers. The child can stay in diapers or pull-ups during training.
  • No metal contacts. Doesn’t corrode or deteriorate in urine.
  • Safety wireless electronics. Completely safe and no risk of skin irritation.
  • Urosensor™ can transmit to more than one alarm. Parents / caregivers can have an alarm in their bedroom.
  • Maximum alerting alarm. Alarm rings at around 98 decibels. Frequency of the alarm is set at the resonant frequency of the ear which is most effective for alerting the brain.
  • Volume adjustment inside alarm unit. Tamper-proof.
  • The alarm comes with CR2354 ‘coin’ battery. Will last for at least three months of nightly use triggering twice a night and therefore shouldn’t need changing during the normal treatment period.

  1. Put the DRI Sleeper® alarm unit on a bedside table and switch it on. It will beep rapidly 5 times.
  2. Prepare a minipad by making a pocket in the absorbent layers by either cutting a 25mm (1 inch) slit in the absorbent layers with a pair of sharp scissors, or cutting the top off the minipad. With the point of the scissors create a pocket for the Urosensor™ to slide into. (The downloadable instructions include alternative methods of locating the Urosensor™)
  3. Remove the Urosensor™ from the alarm cradle and insert in the minipad with the black sensing strips facing your child’s crotch.
  4. Stick the minipad into the crotch of your child’s underwear making sure that the Urosensor™ is near where the urine will be passed.

Warning: Button/Coin Batteries are hazardous if swallowed.

The DRI Sleeper eclipse base unit contains a CR2354 button/coin cell type lithium battery which is hazardous if swallowed. The Eclipse now has a secure double-action battery compartment. Older versions of the Eclipse have a single action battery compartment. Older models of the DRI Sleeper Excel used LR44 (alkaline) button type batteries.

  • Do not allow children to change the battery.
  • Dispose of used batteries immediately and keep out of reach of children.
  • Regularly check and make sure the battery compartment is correctly secured. Safely dispose of and replace the unit if the compartment is damaged and not secure.

Please be aware:

  • Swallowing or placing a lithium button battery inside any part of the body can cause severe injury or death in 2 hours or less.
  • Swallowing or placing a non-lithium button battery inside any part of the body can cause serious injuries.
  • Medical attention should be sought immediately if you suspect that your child has swallowed or placed a button battery inside any part of the body.

Why buy a Dri Sleeper bedwetting alarm?

MADE IN NEW ZEALAND and recommended by medical professionals and doctors from around the world. Dri Sleep Alarms have a 80% success rate. They are great for older kids, or those really heavy sleepers that don’t seem to wake up when wet.

How do they work?

The DRI Sleeper® Eclipse alarm uses a remote wireless sensor to detect bedwetting. Simply place the small Urosensor™ in the child's underwear and the DRI Sleeper® Eclipse receiver on a nearby bedside table. When wetting starts, the Urosensor™ will trigger the receiver alarm, sounding a loud alert and waking the child.

What is the difference between a wireless and wired alarm?

Like any product, wired is more cost effective, while wireless is simpler and easier to use.

Who makes DRI Sleeper Alarms?

DRI Sleeper alarms are an NZ company. So we can guarantee they their safety and are on hand with any questions.

Hi Shelley, To help your child get used to using the alarm, it’s a good idea to practice what they should do when it goes off at night. This practice, known as "priming," helps train their brain to wake up to the alarm sound. Have your child rehearse the steps they need to follow when they hear the alarm, repeating this three or four times to increase their readiness.
At first, you may need to wake up with your child when the alarm sounds to make sure they follow the steps. This process may take a week or two, but the effort will pay off in the end.

    Great product

I really like the concept of it . My son is 7 years old. We are only 1.5 weeks into using it. Unfortunately he is still wetting the bed, but will continue to use it in hopes that it will help.

    Life-changing

It’s no exaggeration to say this little device changed our lives. Our son wet the bed each night for about two years, often requiring not just sheets and quilt cover but the quilt itself to be washed. He used the alarm consistently for about two weeks and has been dry overnight since. It’s been a huge confidence boost for him and a big relief (not to mention a time-saver) for our family. Thanks so much,

    Awesome!

I have an 11 year old who has struggled with persistent night time wetting. He is a very deep sleeper and we had tried the bed alarm mat which was bulky, harder to clean and sometimes wouldn’t cover the area needed so it didn’t work. This wee wireless alarm is amazing! It is so small, easy to clean and works every time. We are a few weeks in and have had 4 dry nights this week. He now wakes up to the alarm himself, goes to the toilet, cleans up, resets it himself and goes back to bed without waking us at all. This has given him a real sense of autonomy and pride. One thing I would love with this alarm is an app that can connect to your phone and record how often and what times the alarm goes off to make the documenting process easier. Thank you so much for creating such a life changing device. Worth every penny!

    Amazing!

We had many half hearted attempts to toilet train at night, including an alarm with a wire which we stopped using as it was inaccurate and uncomfortable. After using this new alarm for 1.5 weeks, my daughter is either waking up on her own, or sleeping through the night (keeping dry) and has a lot more confidence in making this work. Thank you, wish we had found this earlier!
